Flight from Athens to Prague. Arrival, meeting at the airport with our local office representative. This is followed by a tour of the Old Town of Prague – among other things we will see the Old Town Square (Old town places), the medieval Town Hall with the astronomical clock, the church of Panagia Tyn, the Jewish quarter, the Gothic Gunpowder Tower, Charles University, the Nostic Theatre, Wenceslas Square (Wenceslas Square), the National Library, the Philharmonic Hall, and we will walk on the stone bridge of Charles, adorned with 30 statues of saints. free time, transfer to the hotel, room reception. Breakfast and we start for the full-day excursion to the historic capital of Saxony, the enchanting Dresden. Return to Prague and for the afternoon we recommend an optional Black Theater performance. Dinner. Overnight.
Breakfast and departure for the full-day excursion to the Czech spa town of Karlovy Vary, which is located 130km west of Prague. It was already established in the 14th century and is known all over the world for the treatment of gastrointestinal diseases as well as for its unique architecture. We will see the geyser "Vridlo" and other hot springs, mansion complexes of hotels and clinics, the Russian Church of Saints Peter and Paul, etc.. Free time to browse and for your necessary purchases! In the afternoon return to Prague, Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast, free day. OPTIONALLY: full day excursion to Cesky Krumlov. A trip to the fairytale town of the Czech Republic, Cesky Krumlov, where you will enjoy its imposing castle, whose construction lasted 6 centuries, its elaborate cobblestones, the arcades with the asymmetrical arches, the artistic gardens, the dollhouses painted in beautiful soft colors and decorated with a wide variety of architectural decorations with frescoes on the facades that refer to themes from ancient Greek and Roman history. It rightly claims the title of the official fairy-tale town of Bohemia. Back at the hotel, dinner. In the evening we recommend you visit one of the famous jazz clubs with live music and definitely try one of the excellent Czech beers.
Breakfast followed by a guided tour of Kastropolis and the Castle – among other things we will see the Strahov Monastery, the Chernin Palace, Loreto, the Schwarzenberg Palace, the Archdiocese of Prague, the Presidential Palace, the Cathedral of Agios Vitos, the church of Agios Nikolaos etc. Free time to browse and for your necessary purchases! Then transfer to Prague airport for the return flight to Athens.
